Houghton Mifflin Harcourt wanted to launch a large-scale effort to promote one of their cherished characters, Carmen Sandiego for an anniversary. With this in mind, I led a small team of designers as the Art Director to produce multiple marketing campaign products. These included pencil designs, style guide, banner ads, playing cards, and an award-winning video series campaign. The videos, Fearless Kids Around the World, feature children from across the globe who talk about wanting to make a difference in their region. These videos earned our team a Gold ADDY award in 2020 and can be seen here.
My role was to lead the team with direction on how to maintain brand integrity with the multiple projects to ensure cohesiveness. With the videos, I worked closely with designers to give direction, review proofs, as well as videographers and animation designers to ensure a smooth delivery of the final product.
